Why do your grooms take a long time to complete?
We take pride in the quality of our work and do not cut any corners or take half-measures. Our car cleaning process ensures that a full detailed valet takes place. The amount of detail in a car can be overwhelming for the average person but our trained staff can handle the job.
How can I be sure my precious/antique/special car will be safe in your hands?
We have over 25 years of combined experience. Our staff have worked on most cars, including classics, muscle, sports and various other types. We know how to care for various car types and what’s involved in looking after them.
What is a “cut and polish” and how does it help my car look better?
A machine cut & polish will normally remove 80-90% of car wash type scratching. It is done by using machine buffer and a cutting compound to smooth the edges of the scratches. This also makes it easier to clean in the future due to less hiding places for dirt etc. A lot of this damage is caused by someone’s attempts to repair the scratches or from washing using inappropriate equipment/materials.
Can you remove X Y Z from my paint or interior?
We can remove most types of contamination, including paint, concrete, tar etc. It depends on the severity. It is usually best to bring it in for us to assess on a case-by-case basis. There are no guarantees but we have a lot of experience in the industry and have almost seen it all.
Can you clean leather?
Yes we can. Cleaning leather must be done very carefully. Harsh cleaning chemicals or scrubbing too hard can damage the leather and make it look faded and washed-out. We are experienced in leather cleaning & conditioning & we have the correct cleaners & treatments to ensure that the leather is properly cleaned & nourished.
Can you remove cigarette smoke stains and smells?
Yes we can. This is a very common problem with Japanese imports due to car pooling, traffic times and heavy smoking. We clean the fabric thoroughly with our shampoo machines (sometimes several times), finishing with an anti-bacterial shampoo and deodorise the air conditioning. The results may vary. This applies to most other types of stains/smells.
